Buy Lost Mail from United States Postal Service Auctions

Did you know that you can buy lost mail from the USPS? If you happen to live near Atlanta, Georgia then you are in luck because practically all the lost mail auctions are conducted there at the Mail Recovery Center on 5345 Fulton Industrial Boulevard SW
Atlanta, GA 30378-2400. Infrequently, auctions are held at the St. Paul Mail Recovery Center at 443 Fillmore Avenue East
St. Paul, MN 55107-9607 but all the ones on the published USPS auction schedule are listed as taking place in Atlanta.

So, the next time you lose a piece of mail and are upset, consider heading down to Atlanta to bid on it. :)

What pure motives are there for buying lost mail? I can’t think of anything good that someone would do with mail that doesn’t belong to them.

Well, I think you’d be buying things in packages as opposed to letters or bills or something.

My buddy buys skids of lost DVD/VHS movies and sells them on ebay/amazon… makes his money back 2fold. skids go for 3,000 to over 10k depending on contents.

It is no fun when mail loses people`s personal stuff and then sells it in same time when these people search for their stuff. Am I right?
Do you want to be on the place of such people?
