Now that you know that you can buy lost mail from the USPS in their Atlanta facility, I bet you’re itching to know where they sell all the lost luggage, right? Well, apparently lost luggage goes to an Alabama facility called Unclaimed Baggage. That’s right, the airlines pay you pittance for your stuff and then sells it to a company so that they can sell your stuff back to you. Now, if you can get over your seething anger (I get pissed off just writing about this) and are near the Scottsboro, AL facility, go on over and see if you can buy back your own stuff.
Their interesting stuff page is actually kind of interesting, unless you are one of the folks who lost one of the items listed (like a 40.95 carat natural emerald or a 5.8 carat diamond set it platinum).
