Emigrant Direct Lowers Rate to 4.55%

EmigrantDirect has just lowered their interest rates on their high yield savings account, the American Dream Savings Account, to 4.55% APY from 4.65% APY. After leading the pack for so many months about a year ago, it looks like EmigrantDirect has enough deposits on board that they don’t need to be the leader anymore (E*Trade has a 5.05% APY product).
