How To File An Airborne Settlement Claim

Airborne makes this powder that you can mix with water to make a concoction that claimed to prevent colds. The FTC claimed false advertising, Airborne couldn’t prove it did, and they reached a $23.5M settlement earlier this year. Just this past week, the FTC increased that settlement figure to $30M, subject to approval by a California federal court.

If you purchased, and can prove you did, any products between May 2001 and November 2007, you can make a claim on your share of the settlement. You can get a refund for the items you bought if you have the receipts plus six unproven purchases. If you have receipts for five, you can claim eleven purchases. If have zero, you can claim six anyway. You have until Sept. 15th, 2008 to file your claim.
