MIT OpenCourseWare: Free Online Classes

Online learning has been all the rage lately and so MIT made all the aspiring nerds in the world double happy when they announced MIT OpenCourseWare. MIT OpenCourseWare is an MIT sponsored website that shares free lecture notes, exams, presentations, and other resources from over 1800 courses absolutely free! That’s right, these are real tests and lecture notes from real courses from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and they are completely free.

Before you jump to the conclusion that these must all be technical courses, the topics range from Architecture to Engineering, from Humanities and the Arts to the Social Sciences, and run the whole gamut of courses at MIT. Here’s a listing of all the departments.

So, if you’ve always wanted to go to MIT but couldn’t afford it or meet their unreasonable stringent entrance requirements, now’s your chance to learn what they learned!
