Discover has a new promotion with their Discover More card. You get a $50 cashback bonus after your first $500 of spend, as long as you spend it within three months of opening the account. It’s a pretty sweet offer if you’re looking for a Discover card.

Discover More shifts their high percentage cashback categories each quarter to help you maximize savings.

TradeKing had been running a hot $50 TradeKing promotion promotion in October where new account holders can get $50 if they deposited $2,500 or more within 30 days and then made a trade within 180 days of opening the account. It had done so well that they decided to extend it through the end of November. The terms are easy, the bonus is deposited quickly, and the trade costs only $4.95 one-way.

TradeKing has won a couple big brokerage awards including $1 in Customer Service in Smart Money Magazine’s 2008 Best Discount Brokers and even four stars from Barron’s.

These guys have made quite a name for themselves and are now adding $50 to the pot!

HSBC is currently running a promotion where you can get a $75 cash bonus if you open an Interest Checking Account and then a $50 or $25 bonus if you open a savings account by May 31st, 2008. Unfortunately, there is no similar offer if you open an HSBC Direct online savings account, currently yielding 3.50% APY until September 15th, 2008.

Some words of warning:

• There is an $8 monthly fee with the checking account unless you $3,000 in there or a direct deposit.
• The two offers for the savings account are: $50 for Premium Money Market Plus Savings Account, $25 for opening a Regular Savings Account.
• Minimum opening account contribution for the $50 bonus is $3,000 and $500 for the smaller one.
